Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters

The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters

In 1928, a grass roots alliance of conservationists joined forces to become the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters. Today, they are the province’s largest nonprofit, charitable fish and wildlife conservation organization. Together with their partners, they deliver a broad range of conservation initiatives. As the voice of anglers and hunters, and as a leader in fish and wildlife conservation in the Province of Ontario, the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH) strives to ensure the protection of our hunting and fishing heritage and the enhancement of hunting and fishing opportunities; encourages safe and responsible participation; and champions the conservation of Ontario’s fish and wildlife resources, which so enriches our lives.
Northwestern Ontario Sportsmen's Alliance

The Northwestern Ontario Sportsmen’s Alliance

Founded in 1998 by a few like minded sportsmen who felt that organizations were not best serving the needs of hunters, anglers and trappers in the north. These dedicated individuals decided that the public needed it's own voice in the north, to speak out on behalf of interests and concerns as they pertained to wildlife management and conservation issues. NOSA and its members work on a variety of conservation minded projects ranging from fish stocking and rehabilitation programs to putting volunteers alongside MNR biologists as they do aerial moose inventory in helicopter flights. NOSA continues to forge ahead with setting goals for the enhancement and promotion of our hunting and fishing heritage in the north.
